Abstract
This booklet includes samples of the Ruq‘ah and Naskh scripts for beginners. It aims to improving their handwriting. Therefore, it deals with the Arabic alphabet from a to y in their various forms and in accordance with their places: at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the word.
The booklet gives sentences at the top of each page and leaves its lines void for drilling by repeating the line written above. The trainee is requested to mimic that line while filling the empty lines.
In the introduction, it asks the trainee to start from the last empty line. When he finishes it, he moves up to the upper one, and so he goes on in order to conceal his own writing, not that of the calligrapher.
